Mr. D’s serves a carefully curated menu including long time guest favorites from the hotel’s past restaurants such as the Skillet Breakfasts, Drunken Goat Cheese Salad, Pancetta-Wrapped Shrimp and our famous Desmond Bread Pudding – along with new dinner entrées including Pan Seared Red Snapper and Thai Massaman Curry Salmon.

The full bar offers a selection of local New York State craft beers, fantastic wines and upscale cocktails.  Weekend Brunch is offered both Saturday and Sunday featuring popular items such as Filet Eggs Benedict, Bananas Foster French Toast and Chilled Strawberry Soup.

PRIME RIB NIGHT

EXTENDED THROUGH APRIL! In celebration of Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel’s 50th Anniversary, join us Friday night for our popular three course Prime Rib Special. This limited time feature is available 4:30-10:00PM, with your choice of 12oz cut for $29 or 16oz cut for $34.

HAPPY HOUR

Join us in Mr. D’s every day between 4:30 and 6:30PM for Albany’s best Happy Hour with small plate specials and $2 off draft beers, wines by the glass, and listed specialty cocktails.

DESMOND BREAD PUDDING

Our famous Desmond Bread Pudding is available to order online. Each packaged dessert serves 8-10 guests with our English custard on the side. Note that orders are for pick up only, we are unable to ship at this time.
