Check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is by 12 noon. Early check-in requests and extended check-out times are based upon availability. Additional rates may apply.


The Desmond is 100% smoke free in all guest rooms and public areas. Should you or a guest smoke in your room, a minimum fee of $175 will be charged for cleaning.  Smoking is permitted outside each of our main entrance doors.


The Desmond observes a 24 hour cancellation policy.  Cancellations are accepted until 4pm local time, 24 hours PRIOR to your arrival date.  Cancellations received after this time will be charged one night’s room and taxes.


If you expect to arrive early in the day and would like immediate access to your room, we recommend booking the room for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access to your guest room until you depart. If you choose not to reserve an additional night, we will be glad to store your bags at the Front Desk.


The Desmond permits service animals in our guest rooms, please inform our Front Desk staff at check-in if you will have a service animal with you in your room.  There are several pet lodging facilities located within 2 miles of the hotel, please ask our Front Desk for recommendations.


Our Executive, Duplex and Presidential Suites each contain an un-stocked wet bar with a refrigerator and microwave.  Refrigerators and microwaves are also available upon request to our Front Desk, a fee of $15 per day for each will apply.


We accept cash, money orders, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Diners Club.  A company check is accepted for payment if received prior to arrival.  Personal checks are not accepted.  Third party billing is available via a credit card authorization form; a completed form must be submitted prior to the arrival date.


As of January 15, 2018 the Desmond Travelers Rewards program and its benefits have been discontinued.  As an affiliate hotel with IHG (InterContinental Hotels Groups), our guests are now eligible to participate in the IHG Rewards Club loyalty program.  For more information about IHG Rewards Club, or to join the program, please click here.


As of January 15, 2018 we are no longer enrolling any new members into our Restaurant Rewards program. Existing members will continue to earn benefits based on the program structure.


Complimentary parking is provided for hotel guests only.  Guests who purchase our Stay, Park & Fly package receive up to two weeks complimentary parking; after two weeks an additional daily parking fee will be charged.  Please notify our Front Desk at check-in if you will be leaving a vehicle in order to receive a parking pass, and directions on where to leave your vehicle while you travel. We reserve the right to tow any vehicle, at any time, at the owner’s expense if a vehicle does not have a parking pass, if we are not notified of how long the vehicle will be left, and/or if the vehicle is not parked in the correct area. Vehicles in our parking lots are left at the owner’s discretion, we are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle while it is in our parking areas.
