The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center Appoints Director of Sales

Jon Stultz is named as the new Director of Sales for The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany, New York.

ALBANY, N.Y., February 2, 2010 - John D'Adamo, General Manager of The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center, announces the appointment of Jon Stultz as Director of Sales.

Stultz joins the Desmond team with more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he worked as the VP Sales and Marketing at Shanty Creek Resort in northern Michigan a 4,600 acre resort with ski, golf, spa, and lodging. Stultz also served as Director of Sales and Marketing in Saratoga Springs, New York for six years.

As Director of Sales, Stultz will be responsible for managing the sales team and creating sales strategies for groups, meetings, and special events, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Mr. D'Adamo commented, "We are delighted to welcome Jon to the Desmond team in Albany. Stultz holds a Bachelor degree from Roanoke College and a MBA from James Madison University, Virginia. Stultz is arriving to The Desmond from Traverse City, Michigan.
