Q. Do you provide Internet access at the Desmond? A. Yes, we provide complimentary high-speed Internet access from our guest rooms and complimentary wireless Internet access from our lobby and public areas.
Q. How many people can you accommodate for conferences or weddings? A. We have rooms in various sizes and dimensions to suit small groups of 10 to large groups of 250, depending on the seating arrangement and service.
Q. How far is the hotel from Albany Airport or downtown Albany? A. We are minutes from Albany International Airport (and we provide complimentary shuttle service to our guests) and a short drive (approximately 15-20 minutes) from any of the several routes available to various locations in downtown Albany.
Q. Do you have an airport shuttle to Albany International Airport? A. Yes, We provide complimentary, 24-hour airport shuttle service from outside the baggage claim area of the Albany International Airport to the front door of The Desmond. When you arrive at the airport, please gather your baggage, then simply pick up the courtesy phone labeled "Desmond" and let us know you're ready. We'll send our van right over for you. When you are ready to depart, just let the Front Desk know you need a ride to the airport, and you're on your way.
Q. Do you allow pets? A. Pets are not permitted in the hotel, however service animals are of course permitted.
Q. Do you have Non-smoking accommodations? A. The Albany Desmond Hotel and Conference Center is proud to be a fully no-smoking property. Our rooms, restaurants and common areas are entirely smoke-free.

Q. Do you have indoor pools? A. We have two indoor heated pools at the Albany Desmond Hotel and Conference Center.
Q. Are the fireplaces in the hotel rooms real? A. The fireplaces in our suites are decorative only. We encourage you to enjoy the fireplaces in our lobby and our dining area.
Q. What can The Desmond Gift Cards be used for? A. The Desmond Gift Cards can be used for anything on the property....hotel accommodations, dining, gift shop purchases, etc.
