The Desmond's Town Hall ...the region's premier meeting space.
Located on the main floor adjacent to the King Street Ballroom, The Desmond Hotel Town Hall is a state-of-the-art multimedia presentation meeting room with seating for 110 people and "push to talk" microphones located at each work station.
The Town Hall features two Creston Control Systems.
The first system is located in the heart of the room, allowing one person control over all aspects of the presentation from this one location.
The second Creston Control System is located in the projection room at the rear of the room. This adds the capability of the technician to monitor the presentation from a remote site, leaving the presenter free to concentrate on their presentation. The two Creston Control Systems feature all of the following:

Controls the VCR Connected to Epson LCD
Cable TV or Computer display Projected from Epson LCD to 9'x12' Screen
Sony VCR
Marantz CD/Cassette Player
Dual Slide Projection (available on request)

The podium on the stage has a built-in touch panel and a Panasonic multi-scan monitor, for viewing the computer and video displays. Additionally, the podium is equipped with cable-ready VCR and a CD\Cassette player, along with built-in microphone and optional wireless lavalier microphone. Located on the front of the stage is an input plate with eight additional microphone jacks, which gives the room a total of seventy-two microphones.

High Street Conference Center ...where elegance and technology come together. The High Street conference and meeting rooms are located on the third floor of the Desmond in a cozy configuration of rooms designed to suit the needs of large meetings, classes and presentations. Standard features include:
Business center staffed by a full time attendant to make copies, send, receive, and deliver facsimiles and take phone messages.
A dedicated staff that maintains and services all meeting rooms and guest areas.
Use of audio\video equipment including overhead projector, screen, (2) flip charts, or white boards, monitor and VCR. Other equipment is available at an additional charge.
Each meeting room is complete with large conference center tables (5'x30') and special ergonomic chairs to provide the most comfortable setting for a meeting.

The King Street Ballroom ...turn a business function into an elegant affair. These rooms are graciously appointed and quite spacious. Utilize one room or combine as many as four rooms to meet any imaginable business need. Ideal for large classroom applications, banquets and seminars.
